Teaching Grammar in Context:
  • Weaver: There is the thought that Good writing uses a lot of adjectives. It becomes about how many adjectives can I put in here v. describe the actual object. Writing becomes more meaningful and authentic.
  • Peterson: Titanic example (multi-genre project). Make connections from grammar to other things. How might we speak in a certain situation versus others. It helps to teach students
